Youth Summer Husbandry Camp

Unsure what to do for the kids this summer? We still have spots available for our Equine Summer Program!

This 5-week program begins in July, and concludes in August; a 5-hour class day of hands-on learning, on a weekly basis. Small classes offer a unique experience, and one-on-one time with instructor Madelyn Simpelaar.

Volunteer Days

at Simply Equine

Join us for our next Volunteer Day on June 27th at 9 am.

Looking for a hands-on way to learn more about horse care while giving back? Join us for our Volunteer Days at Simply Equine, LLC!

Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist with essential daily stable operations, including:

Feeding horses
Cleaning stalls
Refilling and maintaining fresh water buckets
Assisting with basic horse first aid, as needed
Horse grooming
Arena maintenance and upkeep
General farm and facility maintenance

Whether you're new to horses or looking to expand your equine knowledge, our volunteer days provide valuable experience in responsible horse husbandry while helping keep our horses healthy, happy, and comfortable.

Come spend time around horses, learn practical stable management skills, and become part of our equine community!

Obstacle Fun Days

Join us for Obstacle Days at Simply Equine, LLC! Our next obstacles fun day is TBA.

Build confidence, improve communication, and develop practical horsemanship skills with our Trail and Working Equitation obstacle training opportunities at Simply Equine, LLC.

Riders can practice navigating a variety of obstacles in both our arena and grass training areas, helping horses become more responsive, focused, and confident in new situations.

Obstacles may include:

Gate opening and closing
Mailbox obstacle
Drag obstacle
Tarp crossing
Bell corridor
Cup exchange (cup swap)
Slalom course
Table pick-up and placement
Drum patterns
Bridge work
Pole obstacles
And more!

These exercises are designed to challenge both horse and rider while promoting trust, control, problem-solving, and real-world riding skills. Whether you're preparing for competition, improving your trail horse, or simply looking for a fun and engaging training experience, our obstacle courses offer something for riders of all levels.
